Marrakech, the terracotta city

It was one of the cities I most wanted to meet, for it was clear that it was highly photographable, to hear beautifully speaking of food, places where we can eat wonderfully, for being cheap, for transpiring culture, for thinking that in every nook and cranny a marvelous riad, for being drawn to all the chaos that  city sweated every time I read or saw something about Marrakech, for wanting to get into that typical bargaining ritual, because nothing is bought there without haggling, believing that watching the sunset in the Medina would be wonderful, to imagine all that confusion in the Medina is organized in a blink of an eye and square full of restaurants appears, to believe that there are enchanting snakes, being almost certain that Marrakesh in that terracotta tone has a different energy, special ...
And it really has, it has this energy, everything that I imagined above and more !!
I'm going to spread it for the 4 days to let you feel everything that Marrakech made me feel day after day!
Day 1
I landed near lunchtime, got on the bus and just wanted to get downtown, to see if it was really all I expected.
As soon as we passed the walls, the sound of the horns was almost soundtrack, there was a chaotic traffic, but nevertheless a sort of organized chaos, where the bands mixed as well as the senses, but they do not get angry, there were few waving arms or expressions that looked like swearing, the horns were only meant to say attention I will pass !!!
We stopped at the center, when I got off the bus I felt that the Medina was close to hearing a rumble in the air, and she was that energy that I thought existed, I followed a long and narrow corridor, yes corridor, because I think the width it was not enough to call it street. The smell was nauseating, and every two meters there were house doors, I came to the end and came upon the ruins of the facade of a house that once existed there, I went through them and later I found a large wooden gate, and Behind him there was one of them, the Lotus Privilege Marrakesh, a riad  that my imagination could not overcome!
Inexplicable, I can only thank God when I went to the toilet, took the machine with me, yes because it was not a bathroom but a mini mirror room worthy of Versailles !!
And at the table was this ... we had a leisurely lunch to taste each of the delicacies that were being placed on the table, an explosion of flavors, simply delicious.

With the rest of the afternoon, he had time to check in at the hotel, rest a little, and go out for dinner.
When I thought that lunch would be difficult to overcome, I was completely mistaken, and the places and days that followed on this trip were always like this, in maximum surpassing of the previous !!!
And there I went, at the Palais Jad Mahal it was already past 8.30, in the hall a beautiful concierge, who I am sure told me "Bonsoir Madame", but I was already so immersed in the "lusco fusco" of that place, that neither I remember responding, where candles and little lamps were not missing, where the shadows were so accentuated, which made me feel in one of the most sensual places I've ever been, I think the pictures spoke for themselves, because I can not explain that place better.
The space is stunning, the dining rooms, the bar, the greenhouse with the lake.
The dinner was delicious and ended with a fire show, which in the midst of that "twilight" inside the glasshouse was almost comparable to a firework display inside a room.
And before the traditional mint tea with at least "7 spoons of sugar" I was still surprised by these ladies, who danced with trays with candelabras placed on the head, that hypnotized us with each movement.

Enjoy, can't wait to share with you the rest of the days!!
